Thomas J. "Tom" Anderson II
Thomas J. “Tom” Anderson II has been re-elected to City Council to serve a term from 2007 until 2011. He was first elected to City Council in 1998. He served as the Mayor Pro Tem in 2000. Councilman Anderson is the past President of The Theatre of the Republic and worked for the SC House of Representatives while at the University of South Carolina. Anderson is employed as a General Contractor and is the son of Tom and Peggy Anderson of Conway. He and his wife, April, have two children—Caroline (age 9) and Thomas J. (age 7). He attends First Baptist Church of Conway.
