Jet Ski's

The City of Conway Fire and Police Departments use two (2) Yamaha Personal Watercrafts (PWC's) to respond to

emergency calls on the Waccamaw River that runs through our downtown area and along the City Limits.

The PWC's can be used by trained operators for law enforcement patrol, boat accidents, and other types

of assistance on the water.  Attached to the rear of these PWC's are regular stokes baskets

that are used by trained rescuer's to remove victims from the water and transport them to land.

Our personnel have been trained by top quality PWC Rescue Specialists for this specialized duty.
