Election Filing May Close Early Due to Hurricane Dorian
The filing for Mayor and City Council opened on Friday, August 23, 2019. Originally, the filing was supposed to close on Friday, September 6, 2019. However, in anticipation that the City of Conway may have to close operations at noon on Wednesday due to Hurricane Dorian, the City may have to close the election at that time.
The fee to file for Mayor is $560.00, and the fee to file for
Council is $325.00. A valid driver’s license is required.
The following have filed:
• Mayor – Incumbent Barbara Blain-Bellamy
• Council – Incumbent Larry White, Incumbent Tom Anderson, Alex Hyman, Justin Jordan, and Barbara Eisenhardt.
