Conway Police to Resume Community Watch Meetings

CONWAY, SC - The Conway Police Department will resume hosting community watch group meetings after the Coronavirus caused a pause for the Conway Police to Resume Community Watch Meetings.

The purpose of the meetings is to encourage community involvement in crime prevention and help foster community efforts to increase awareness of crime prevention trends.

A vital aspect of community policing is the partnership between officers and members of the community.

Many times, tips from community members can be the missing piece to solving a case or the link needed to locate a suspect. Never hesitate to contact law enforcement. When you see something, say something.

Community watch group meetings will be held in neighborhoods and areas throughout the City. To learn more about attending a gathering in your community, call Senior Master Police Officers Tyres Nesmith or Sergeant Steven Pearce at 843-248-1790.

In addition, you may remain anonymous when reporting a tip. To report a non-emergency crime anonymously, call 843-248-1790 or 911.
