BUILDING DEDICATION HONORING MR. KENNETH “KEN” SENN

CONWAY, SC (April 18, 2022) – On April 18, 2022 the City of Conway honored Mr. Kenneth "Ken" Senn by dedicating and naming the Athletic Offices in his name. The now Ken Senn Athletic Offices are located at the Billy Gardner Recreation Complex, 1515 Mill Pond Rd. This facility houses all current operations for youth and adult athletics. 

Mr. Senn began his career with the city July 6, 1982 where he previously served as Parks and Recreation Director, and most recently the Finance Department. Mr. Senn retired from the city on January 7, 2022.

Councilmen William Goldfinch spoke fondly of his memories at the ballfields and how Mr. Senn was the catalyst to ensuring the future of athletics in Conway. 

Ashley Smith, Conway Parks and Recreation Director, was thankful for Mr. Senn being a fatherly figure. Mr. Smith began his career in Parks and Recreation under Mr. Senn's leadership and is thankful for the opportunity to serve Conway citizens with him.
