Public Hearing Notification Signs

My project

One of the ways the City of Conway gives public notice of a requested change to a property is by placing the signs pictured to notify surrounding property owners. Signs are placed on the property making the request a minimum of 15 days prior to the request being heard by the Planning Commission or Board of Zoning Appeals.

Notification signs could be for several types of request: variances or appeals to city ordinances, rezoning request, annexation request, etc. Applications like fences or building permits do not require public hearings or public notice.

We would be happy to explain the request and share the date when the request will be heard in a public meeting. The public is invited to come and share any input they have regarding the request at a public hearing. Agendas and meeting information for boards that hear these request can be found here: http://ow.ly/2GiR50Jp2k0
