Register to receive emergency notifications via text
The City of Conway has partnered with an emergency notification system to share life-saving information through text.
The CodeRED system, utilized by the City of Conway, provides City officials the ability to deliver messages to targeted areas of the entire City.

No one should automatically assume his or her phone number is included. Residents and business owners are encouraged to register for the CodeRED emergency notification alerts.
Those without Internet access may call the City of Conway at 843-248-1760 on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. to supply their information over the phone. Required information includes first and last name, street address (physical address, no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, and primary phone number. Additional phone numbers can be entered as well.
All businesses should register, as well as all individuals who have unlisted phone numbers, who have changed their phone number or address within the past year, and those who use a cellular phone as their primary number.

CodeRED Emergency Communication Network Activation
The City of Conway licensed the CodeRED Community Notification System to disseminate important or critical information to City residents and businesses in 2017.
City residents and businesses are encouraged to click the CodeRed logo below and enter their information, including additional phones, text and email addresses to ensure that an important alert is not missed. (If you have previously registered with CodeRed, use this opportunity to update your contact information in the emergency alert database.)
Residents that do not have internet access are requested to have a friend or family member assist them in adding their contact information in the emergency database.
